Jane's paintings not only reflect her love
of nature, but her love of color, light and the
impressionistic style.
Her goal is to share her
artistic passion and love of art through the
paintings she creates.

“Pastel painting is my bliss." - Jane Christie
“ Follow your bliss” - Joseph Campbell (philosopher)
“ When you are in touch with your creativity you are in touch with your divinity.” - Unknown

Profile
Jane Christie has been an active artist practically all of her life. As a child she attended art school at the Atlanta High Museum of Art. At the University of Georgia, Jane was working toward a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Home Economics, but her love of painting drew her to the art curriculum instead. Her focus shifted to attending as many art classes as her major would allow. Today her love affair with painting continues. She has studied under Jan Meyers, Peter Heinemann, Dennis Rhodes, David Cuin, Steve Tracy, Kathy Beekman, Kevin Weckbach, Susie Hyer, Doug Dawson, Marcia Hinds, and Albert Handel.
